July 28, 2020 – Toronto, Ontario – Newt Corporation (“Newt” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the signing of a SaaS Contract with KiWi Mexico for integration of Newt’s SaaS Software and Payment Gateway, in Mexico City.
As per the terms of the agreement, Newt shall provide its technology and its digital services, such as bill payment and airtime top-ups, as well as its catalogue of products to KiWi’s network of affiliate stores, currently serving over 2,000,000 customers at 50,000 locations throughout Mexico.
The Contract establishes that Newt will provide KiWi with its SaaS Software and connectivity to its Payment Gateway, as well as its portfolio of products and services, including prepaid, bill payment, and other digital products, thus adding more innovative product solutions to KiWi’s offering. Currently, the users can utilize KiWi app for processing credit card payments in person, at points of sale, accepting Mastercard, Visa and American Express. Newt is offering an extension of this service, which will include options for merchants to offer bill payment services, digital products, and airtime top-ups within the same transaction, providing retailers with more opportunities to increase their sales.
