Newt Signs Contract with Banwire S.A. de C.V., Bank Processor, for Credit Card Processing in Latin America

September 22, 2020 – Toronto, Ontario – Newt Corporation (“Newt” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the completion and signing of a Revenue Sharing Agreement (“RSA”) contract for software integration and credit processing services with Banwire S.A. de C.V. in Mexico City, Mexico.

Under the terms of the contract, management teams of Banwire and Newt will collaborate resources to provide Newt’s SaaS software combined with Bank Processing Services to Latin America, as part of its Digital SaaS Offering. Thanks to this agreement, Newt will enable its customers in Latin America and Brazil with seamless online processing capabilities of Visa and Mastercard embedded in the software. In addition, new methods of acceptance of debit cards, additional locations for cash payments, and SPEI Transfer capabilities have been added.

The parties shall also jointly market the expanded service offering to Newt’s and Banwire’s client base, in order to increase the overall number of transactions processed. This agreement will further position Newt for the increase in digital payment services requested by the B2B market.

Banwire S.A. de C.V. is a Mexican company with extensive experience in Credit Card Payment Processing in Mexico and Brazil. The Company is backed by a Veteran Insurance Group named ProMASS Group, from Mexico City, with clients located all over Central and South America.
